Meet The Face Behind Nesco Upholstery and Design

I’m Baruch Zelkovitz, proud owner of Nesco Upholstery and Design.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Early in my career, I started out selling furniture but didn’t enjoy what I was doing. I was also losing a lot of money by pursuing it as a business venture. Around twelve years ago, I changed the direction of my business and started to fix furniture instead of selling it. It was more enjoyable, and soon, it became more valuable to work with old, antique furniture, than selling new furniture.

People consider furniture being sold today as garbage due to its short-term use, and are more enticed by antique, custom-made furniture that they see value in. My mission is to make excellent quality furniture that lasts for years, and not just a short time.

When approached by a client, I aim to treat each customer individually so that they feel special and ensure they are happy with the work I have done. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a beautifully finished product and the look of amazement on a customer’s face, that makes them exclaim that they will recommend me to others.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my honesty, integrity, professionalism, and passion for what I do. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and making sure they are happy. I am also on a constant mission to keep learning how to live a good life and to be a good man.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
